In the engaging drama Clandestinos, three teenagers break out of a juvenile detention center and escape to the city. Their cute and charismatic ringleader, Xabi, tries to find his mentor and lover, Iņaki, who is part of a Basque terrorist cell. His clueless friends, Joel and Driss, are more interested in hooking up with two girls they meet on the bus. As Xabi tries to prove himself to Iņaki, he gets in over his head, especially when a john he picks up to rob turns out to be a policeman. Has he gone too far, or is there hope for him yet?
