Frustrated by the local dating scene in Sydney, Poppy turns to the Internet in her search for love. While originally setting out to make a light-hearted documentary on web dating, she unexpectedly meets and develops an online relationship with British woman, Sandeep. Chatting leads to phone calls leads to exchanged videos and finally a plan to meet in person. But Sandeep is a Sikh, still lives at home with her conservative parents, and is very much closeted. Long-distance is hard enough – can their burgeoning love withstand all that?
